Celebrate Fallout: New Vegas' 10th anniversary with this modern take on the original - gidneyyoudly

Lionize Side effect: New Vegas' 10th day of remembrance with this modern take on the pilot

Fallout: New Vegas is formally 10 long time old arsenic of today, and there's no better way to celebrate than with a fresh trailer for its very own devotee-led resurrection.

The community of creators behind Side effect 4: Recently Vegas commemorated the decennial anniversary with a new gameplay trailer that shows off their influence. If you haven't heard of the project earlier, it's exactly what information technology sounds like: an exertion to bring the game human beings and floor of Fallout: New Vegas, which was improved on the bedroc of Fallout 3, to Side effect 4.

The modern creators showed hit an fundamental interaction with the infamous lottery-winning NPC earlier this year, but this is far and away the most of the mod we've seen then far. The trailer ranges across new-and-improved versions of familiar Mojave Waste landmarks, including Goodsprings and Primm. It also reintroduces some familiar faces, like your automaton dog best friend Rex and that asshole Vulpes Inculta (pictured in the distance, honourable few seconds before we all photograph him to death then inescapably reload because having a Horde vendetta that crude in the biz is rough).

I wear't think the trailer shows off whatever of the Parvenue Vegas strip itself, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's being held back for a decorous reveal of its own. I remember being a little awestruck the first meter I slopped into the Strip… and past very upset and disappointed when the exit threshold stony-broke and I had to utilise console commands to escape. Hopefully the modders aren't quite an so faithful about recreating New Vegas' glitches.
